Each Snap Dock Modular Floating Dock Section is designed to be the complete dock system, from floatation, stability, walking surface and accessories. Every square inch of your Modular Floating Dock System adds to your waterfront experience (design, buoyancy, and stability).
In fact, a single 5 ft x 10 ft Snap Dock Modular Floating Dock Section has 3,150 pounds of buoyancy! The secret is underneath each Modular Floating Dock Section. Snap Dock has engineered air compartments molded into the bottom of the dock sections that capture and retain trapped air.
Snap Dock Air Design
Snap Dock uses this trapped air design to help significantly improve overall dock stability and buoyancy. The trapped air design means Snap Dock Floating Dock Sections are infinitely more stable than other floating dock systems.
These trapped air compartments create a negative force, or suction that acts like a vacuum to keep the dock firmly suctioned to the water. This means if you corner load a Modular Dock Section, the entire dock section is providing buoyancy below your feet, while the opposite end is suctioned to the water which counter acts this corner loading and allows the Modular Floating Dock Section to remain extremely stable and level.
Now that we have explained the Modular Floating Dock technology, it is important to understand when adding additional dock sections together, the entire system exponentially increases the overall dock stability.
In addition, color matching, floating engineered “silent” advanced polymer coupling system connect each dock section together equally from the top and bottom, connected by a composite rod and nut, transfers the docks stability from one dock section to another through this advanced truss like
